Directed by acclaimed filmmakers Jehane Noujaim and Karim Amer, the Vow is an American true crime documentary series that revoles around the cult NXIVM and it's leader Keith Raniere.

Throughout the development of the episodes, storytelling was vital to all aspects from design, illustrations, concepting, visual sequences, titles, and more.  Reoccuring themes and symbolism were designed to draw parallels with NXIVM to a dystopian community such as the feeling of being underwater, glitches, old classrooms and projections.
